When I was sixteen, I was diagnosed with cancer of 

the fibula. After years of chemotherapy and countless operations my doctors could not save my leg. I felt then that my life was over and did not really care if I lived or died. Cancer Survivors' Fund held my hand and made me believe that I was not a victim but a very brave young man to survive cancer with a bright and happy future. I am very fortunate to have them on my side.
