The Second Annual Cancer Survivors’ Fund of Houston Celebrity Golf Classic was completed on Monday, November 13, 2006 at the Sienna Plantation Golf Club.

The event, sponsored by IP & Financial Consulting, LLP, US Oncology, Inc., Fulbright & Jaworski LLP, FTI Consulting. Inc., DLA Piper US LLP and the Staubach Company, has raised over $10,000 for the organization.

Cancer Survivors’ Fund is a charity established to help those young people who survived cancer. CSF has the unique ability to recognize potential buried beneath tragedy. We proudly call ourselves the "Dream Makers." We select our recipients from youths who have been "left behind" because of their struggle with cancer and its aftermath and who are unable to receive help from other sources.

The Cancer Survivors’ Fund, one the fastest growing charities in Houston and a member of Better Business Bureau, has awarded hundreds of thousands dollars in scholarships and prosthetic appliances to many young cancer survivors since 1999. Currently nineteen CSF students are enrolled in institutions of higher education, transforming their lives from surviving to thriving. They are pursuing dreams that they once thought impossible to achieve. 

And, we are helping them to do so.
