Reflections from Our Guests

"Cancer Survivor, as I am coming to know this term for people afflicted by this illness challenge, through the non-profit CSF, is becoming synonymous with Super Achiever, except with one critically important difference… they have been re-engineered with relation to life, God and their fellow man. CSF students understand the true meaning of achieving, goal setting and accomplishment, while more importantly realizing it is not done on the backs of their family, friends or other people. Cancer Survivors' Fund is living proof of turning adversity into triumph by “putting their hearts on the table” showing kindness, decency, and peace of mankind… the true gifts our God has given us."  Nick and Belma deBerardinis.

"Thank you so much for inviting us to the CSF Gala.  I am greatly impressed by the stories I heard, it inspired me very much.  It was a privilege for me to be there and to see what you are doing with those beautiful young survivors." Rachel Otto, Editor In Chief, Houston Living Magazine.

"Congratulations on creating a magical night. The young champions were incredible and nothing could have been done to make the night any better. I am so proud and honored to be associated with you all. I’m always at your service." Ruben Gonzalez, Olympian, Keynote Speaker, Author.

"Thank you again for inviting my colleagues and me to your Cancer Survivors' Fund Gala on Friday night April 27, 2007 The Gala was very inspirational! Congratulations on the wonderful work that you, Mike, your Board and others are doing to help these courageous young people! You truly exemplify 'Service Above Self'!" Reverend Vernus Swisher.

"Thank you so much for inviting me to attend your wonderful event last Friday. I was so blessed by listening to your students' stories. You are such an amazing woman. Every year that I attend your dinner, I am amazed at your humility and grace. I've never seen someone with such an amazing spirit. I have been so blessed just to know you. There is no one like you. You are so driven, but at the same time carry yourself with such love and joy. It is such an honor to sit in awe of CSF's success. I've watched it grow in front of my own eyes. You've accomplished so much. It truly is a miracle with an amazing miracle worker! What an honor it is to know you. I cannot wait to see what the years hold for you and CSF. May God continue to bless you and all those you encounter. Thank you again for the invitation. I have no doubt that you will reach 100 students. Lots of Love" Kelly Aylsworth Keys.

"Buddy and I were so intensely blessed at the CSF function... wow..".the sheer emotional high that was received from all the people in the CSF organization is amazing  and it is a true example of 'If you can conceive it and believe it, with the help of God you can achieve it!' just to quote what Buddy said right now"
